If Millwall can replicate their start to the season in the coming matches, then they can move up the table but it is looking more and more unlikely they will be able to emulate last season, when they finished three points outside the playoffs.
Indeed, we do not things will get any better against West Brom, who look to be in imperious attacking form at home and can dismantle any team with their counter-attacks. However, their defence has looked weak at times and, although Millwall’s strikers are largely out of form, backing them to get a goal back is a smart bet as Neil Harris looks for a response to the limp performance against QPR.
Thus, a West Brom to Win.
Chievo have managed just one win in the Serie A this season and going to this game, they have not won any of their last 10 matches. Sassuolo are not far off either; they have managed just one win in their last 10 matches. Chievo have no away win in Serie A this season and have just two clean sheets in the run of 14 matches; out of a possible 42 points in their 14 away games, they have managed just six points. Sassuolo on the other hand, have managed just one win in the last 12 home matches in Serie A and they too have not had a very strong performance defensive performance at home in the league, with just two clean sheets in 15. They have conceded 10 goals in the last four home matches. Four of the two sides’ last seven meetings have yielded draws and just two have hit over 2.5 goals. In 12 meetings, Sassuolo have three wins and Chievo four.
Sassuolo needs win to protect his position and this match is the best option they will make whatever they can to win this match.
Second game for Genk and Antwerp in the playoffs I.
To be honest I find that the Belgian system is very unfair, Genk deserves to be champion after their excellent season so I hope they resist till the end.
After seeing their advance with Brugge dropping from 9 points to 4, they stayed mentaly strong and won easily their first game against Anderlecht 3-0.
The issue with Genk lately was their away games as they are without a win the last 3 games.
The real issue is that they are conceding too many goals, at least one goal in their last 5 away games (but scored at least one goal in each one of them).
Antwerp on the other side is not the team we saw in the begin of the season anymore.
They lost 5 of their last 7 league games and they owe their spot in playoff I only to their good begin of season.
I am not surprised to see them underperforming as their squad is full of ex "Belgian league stars" and they are starting to get tired of this season.
A good proof was their last game away to Standard where they couldn't hold their 0-1 advance and collapsed in the last 20 minutes conceding 3 goals.
Also 6 of the last 7 goals conceded by Antwerp came in the last 20 minutes of the game.
I think this might happen also today with Genk, which I also hope/ think will win the game.
The iron Ones are just 2 points shy of league leaders FC Koln after10 rounds of play. With 4 wins they have never lost a game this season and are the only team in the league to do so.
In the away win on May an 82nd minute strike from substitute Phillip Hosiner proved to be the winner for the team from Berlin.
The latest action involving them in the league was an away draw to Paderborn. Both the teams failed to score despite having chances.
Swedish forward Sebastian Andersson is the main source of goals this season for their team with 4 in 10 caps.
The Berlin defense needs no introduction as they have conceded only 7 goals, the least by any team. Goal difference may be crucial at the end of the season.
Dresden have been playing in this level since they were promoted in 2016/17 season. The team is playing under the guidance of Maik Walpurgis in this season after a 14th place finish last season.
The Round-10 match for the team from Saxony ended as a 1-1 draw to Aue. Moussa Kone scored their only goal in the game. Kone is their top scorer with 5 goals in 10 caps.
I think Union Berlin will win this match.
The two teams didn't make an ideal start since March but my preference leans towards Yokohama. As we saw against Kanazawa, facing a good defense Yokohama struggling to conclude his opportunities, but Ehime is a level well below Kanazawa. Yokohama is, in my opinion, more impactful than Ehime, who makes a very poor start of the season in the content, especially against Machida in their last match. Masakazu Tashiro plays well recently and ensures the defensive solidity of Yokohama, I think very few goals will be scored.
Renofa is currently 20th but should have deserved better on the beginning of season. They played quite well against surprising Ryuku team and deserved a win over Tochigi at home. The odd is probably based on the recent results of Renofa at home, but these results do not reflect the reality of the field. Renofa should, in my opinion, exploit Tokushima's left-side to get a precious victory that would put them back in the middle of the table, a more logical place according to their quality.
